Material and process: This range was produced using Staffordshire bone china and is decorated using ceramic transfers.

Numbers produced

First produced and marketed in Britain around 1992. They were made under the name "Baffle". This range was produced in Staffordshire bone china and later in New Zealand on porcelain. (1995 - 1998) A full range of products were made including. Dinner plate (as pictured). side plates, mugs, cups and saucers., tea pots and platters. Produced in numbers of high ten to high hundreds, depending on product.

Comment

The dinner plate pictured was the first I made. After asking a company in Stoke-on-Trent, England. to send me some samples transfers I used this plate as a test. I later developed a range of work with more of my own black transfers montaged with open stock bought transfers. (See cups).
